Mouse is scared of thunderstorms. Then one evening, the sky begins to rumble and the rain begins to fall. Mouse scurries to his house and hides under his blanket, waiting for the storm to blow over. But the storm doesn’t pass by morning. So, Mouse stays in bed. All day the storm rages—and by evening, it’s still raining. The lighting flashes and the thunder booms outside.
Three days pass, and Mouse hides in his bed. Eventually, he decides he’ll have to do something if he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life under his blanket. But what can a Mouse even do? Come join Mouse as he discovers what it means to be brave in the face of life’s storms.
A charming story about finding confidence and overcoming fears, Forest Friends: Bang, Boom, Brave shows that it’s okay to be frightened—but when we allow our fear to paralyze us, we’re unable to live our lives.
