Celebrate going green like only Curious George can, with a story that’s as educational as it is fun!
During a fun day at the science museum, George learns all about recycling and taking care of the environment. When he finds out Dr. Lee and the museum are planning a “Green Day” dedicated to recycling and planting trees, George is curious and wants to help! Luckily, George finds all kinds of things laying around town, just waiting to be recycled. Unluckily, the items George finds aren’t quite ready for the recycle bin just yet—brand new newspapers, clean paper cups at a lemonade stand, even someone’s personal files in a moving box. With the whole community chasing George to retrieve their items, the “Green Day” rally might be more than George bargained for.
Celebrate going green, like only everyone’s favorite monkey can, with a story that’s equal parts educational and fun! Curious George Plants a Tree is published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, written by Monica Perez, and illustrated by Anna Grossnickle Hines.
